An acknowledged expert on Branding and Marketing, Raghu is the Founder and Executive Chairman of the Vertebrand Group. He has previously held leadership roles in Titan Industries, SmithKline Beecham and other leading Indian and multinational companies. Raghu is part of numerous online and real-world groups, and enjoys contributing his knowledge and expertise.
Raghu graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and then did a post-graduate management programme at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. His college years were filled with public speaking and taking part in cultural programmes, his favourite being jamming.
As Managing Director and CEO of the Vertebrand Group, Nalin is responsible for meeting Vertebrand's business objectives and oversees the execution of Vertebrand's clients' projects. His vast expertise across multiple industries ensures that Vertebrand is able to come up with innovative solutions for each client's project. He has over 3 decades of work experience having held Board level positions in companies like ITC – Agri Business, Dabur, EID Parry and Best & Crompton Engineering. Nalin is also a seasoned international marketer, having widely travelled and worked in many developed economies.
He has been instrumental in transforming several commodity businesses to branded consumer-led businesses, benefitting both the brand and the consumers. He is a Commerce graduate and has also completed a Masters Marketing Programme in the USA. A voracious reader, Nalin is – in his own words - married to his work and his food. He loves travelling and cooking, and has people eating out of his hands at both home and office!
